This sealer is most commonly used for stamped concrete, exposed aggregate finish and colored broom finish concrete.
Coverage: Approximately 200 sq ft per gallon per coat.
Surface Prep:
Clean the surface so it is free of dust, oil, grease, paints, glues, curing agents, efflorescence, rust, algae, mildew and other foreign matter that may serve as a bond breaker. SCR (Super Concrete Renovator) is most often used when resealing or sealing old concrete. Power wash with a pressure washer so the surface thoroughly clean.
Application:
Before applying sealer always determine TK Bright Kure & Seal is compatible with any sealers that were applied prior.
Sealer may be applied by 9" roller or Sprayer in thin applications. It always better to apply two thin coats than one heavy coat.
Slip resistance may be added for additional traction by mixing in one quart of Suregrip or Suregrip HD depending on the texture desired.
Note: Suregrip HD is noticeable on in most sealers.
