Fritz-Pak’s Mortar Set Accelerator offers the same great results as our NCA. This tiny admixture packs a powerful punch when it comes to speeding up the set time of mortar and prebagged concrete mixes. Like NCA, this product contains no calcium chloride, so it won’t corrode steel reinforcements or cause efflorescence when exposed to salt water or deicing chemicals.

BENEFITS OF A MORTAR ACCELERATOR
When working with mortar in cold weather, adding a mortar accelerator to the mix speeds up the set time by one to three hours, helping protect the mix from freezing before it sets up. This increases the durability of the mix. Our Mortar Accelerating admixture does not affect the color of the mortar or prebagged concrete mixes. This admixture also works well with polymer-modified mixes.

HOW TO USE AN ACCELERATOR
Mortar Set Accelerator requires proper mixing to achieve the best results. Once the product has been added to the mortar, mix at a high speed for at least five minutes to ensure even dispersion in the mix. If the admixture is not properly mixed, it can cause uneven set times.
